Good luck. We may not get along, but I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
My grandfather had problems like this, and it sucks. Hope the operation goes well. ( I assume this was about what you're going to the hospital for )

I had some surgery performed on my digestive tract too (and have a decent scar on my stomach to show for it) but when I was only a week or so old so I didn't have to go through the psychological stress of knowing you're going in for a major operation (at least, not in any way I can possibly consciously remember now). So hey, we'll have that in common too, along with Lovecraft bothering and gun nerding.

Plus, on the positive side, for a while you will literally be a kickass cyborg. Not everyone can attest to that :D
