Okay, considering the very fast and very angry degradation of my last topic, I promise not to broach such subjects, at least not for a while.

Anyway, I was wondering how most of you manage your internet persona's? What I mean is, are you friends with a consistent group across all areas (like here, facebook, other gaming sites, etc.)? Or do you kind of know different groups in each place you venture?

I generally keep them separate (not really as a rule, but it just kind of happens this way). I play a couple online games and go to a few different forums, but none of the people (at least as far as I know) crossover. But, it seems like a lot of people here have a similar group of friends all over the place. I could be wrong though... Also, does anyone have any real life friends on here?

Just curious.
I don't venture much. Actually, this is pretty much my only home on the Internet. I don't even really bother with Facebook or LinkedIn.

So I guess you could say I have similar group of friends by virtue of only being in one place!
Believe it or not, I used to be very aggressive or flirtatious online, depending on who I was talking to. But I'm not as active in online communities as I used to be. My introvert nature went online, and my extrovert went offline :x
I do have a couple of old friends I've kept in touch with over the years (and traveled to visit) though. They're the kind of friends I consider myself lucky to have.

Ha, I don't have friends. I'm ze lone wolf!

I like the people I met here, they're a nice bunch. I don't hang around on the net much, I'm pretty fed up with all the keyboard warriors, internet lovers and such. I also don't have the urge to post every single fucking detail of my personal life on Facebook.

-"Hey I'm taking a crap!"
-"Am I in love?"
-"Love is the most prettiest thing in the world!"
-"I hate men."
-"A guy asked me to blow him for a iPhone4! What a idiot, like I would do something like that!" -from iPhone4

etc. etc.
I found lots of idiotic things in the darkest depths of Facebook.

But I hate from the darkest depths of my heart, the ones that post poetical or philosophical stuff online! For the love of god, IF YOU POST IT, UNDERSTAND IT FIRST, YOU IDIOT!

So yes, I'm just waiting for the next World War to kill these idiots.

I don't really get acquaint with people around internet, with Steam being only exception. The people there are mostly decent, with exception of diehard bronies, autist furries and weeaboos and 9-year old micspammers. And idiots who use AIM speak. Jeez.

I despise Fecesbook and other stuff like that. Telling uninterested people about your every action on Facebook, now that sounds fun. Not.

and yet you're the asshole
Eh, my friends do a Google+ type thing where I have some friends that go into two groups, but they all don't belong in all the groups. Pretty much the only ones I have talked to outside of RMN would be Calunio on facebook (although, I haven't in a long time, I should catch up with him) then Karsuman, Craze, and Versalia on League of Legends (although the last two aren't online 24/7 like Karsu :3) Facebook and LoL are where I'm most social. I don't really talk directly to anyone anywhere else.

Milos seems decent. -Karsuman and clyve's best friend
The only places I really go online are here, another forum and on Facebook. On Facebook I only have my real life friends. One of my real life friends made an account here but only posted once I think. Besides that I would be very surprised if anyone here or if any of my real friends went to the other forum I post on.

See, that's the funny thing with my situation: I rarely use a different name in any situation, yet I never mix my worlds. I especially don't mix my real life friends with my online life. I'm not sure why... I think I tried it once and blew up in my face. Anyway, I guess I was wrong. I thought a lot of you (especially the bigger names on here) knew each other really well, and maybe even in real life!
I am UPRC everywhere I go online. It very much feels like a name to me now since I do use it for every single registration page I come across. If you find a UPRC somewhere, it is probably me. I have only ever been beaten to the name "UPRC" once. I don't know how that would even happen.

I don't really have "friends" online anymore. I just talk to a few people here and there, but I don't really have bonds with anyone these days online. It's not that I avoid doing so, it's just not something that happens since I drift in and out of sites a lot. I still love talking to people online though, and I think me being in #rpgmaker.net quite a bit now is proof of that.

I never mixed internet friends with real life friends except, again, back in my school days. I used to be an admin on a small gaming forum which a few of my real life friends signed up to. That was the extent of it because, really, they are two very different crowds of people and you do completely different things with each of them.
