INFORM 7 (INTERACTIVE FICTION)

I was thinking we should so have an interactive fiction writing competition. It would be fun.
Writing an IF game with Inform 7 is relatively easy (compared to writing a game in Assembly. :P). I would be willing to organise it I suppose. Of course by organise it I mean make a new topic saying: You has one week. The theme is ____. Maek Gaems! Would anyone be interested in something of the sort?

I don't know about Inform 7, but I might have some version of Adrift somewhere on this computer of mine. Maybe I just have it backed up? Maybe I don't have it at all? I have no clue!
Regardless of what engine I'd use, would I be up for this? In the end, probably not.I'm no good, aren't I?

Adrift would be fine. As long as its a text based game. And im not looking for epic skillz, just short simple games for the learning.
Maybe you just posted in the wrong subforum. (I don't know why this is in moronic, isn't there some other place it'd rather be. Maybe you can suggest something?)
It does seem interesting and I would be fairly interested in doing this except my skills with designing a game are a lot lower then my skills at making a game, so I'm not sure I really could. It could be useful to get random rm users to see Inform 7 as it might convince to them to learn how to make their own scripts if they don't already. But no yeah this seems like it could be really interesting I'm just not sure I could design one even though I could code a good one easy.
I'd be very interested! I'm a pretty quick writer and I consider my writing skill to be one of my strengths, so I'd love to give this a try!
edit: as long as there's some decent tutorials out there for actually coding the thing. :>

The program itself comes with lots of documentation. And inform 7 is pretty easy.
I posted it in Welp Welp cause i had no idea where else it could be... >.>
Well, at least we have 2 people that could be interested. Aim for 4 before bothering to start?
yeah, inform was so easy I made a game (Retro Fatale) in like 3 evenings of work. And I just started learning at the beginning.
I didn't click this topic because the title didn't seem to be something interesting XD (didn't knew about Inform 7 until now) Funny thing that I was planning a text based game to get used with arrays and variables in java, so I am in (not with inform but you said it only needs to be a text based game)
Also would there be time limit?
Edit: wrong forum u.u'
Edit: This topic should be locked and let only the one in the creative corner
