RTP RECOLORINGS~

So, I had some free time these past few days and I was wondering what I could spend it on. I figured why not recolor RTP actors, Ralph especially, and so this was the result~ (I'll have more ready in the future, but for now it's only him.)

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

The sprite and face don't really match each-other, color-wise.
Also, hate to rain on your parade, but this is like three minutes of work tops in photoshop. Zoom in, choose bucket tool, turn off "contiguous" checkbox, turn off "anti-alias" checkbox, choose the color you want, click on a pixel that's the color you want to replace. Since the RTP style of shading only uses about 4 shades for each color, it should take about 20 clicks to recolor his hair and armor.
You can do the same thing in gimp, I just don't know where all the buttons are off the top of my head.
It's a little harder in MS Paint, you have to use ctrl-eraser instead of non-contiguous bucket. Even in MS Paint though you never have to draw in the pixels yourself.
Learn to use better tools, it will speed up your work!

I see..Lol well, I'm more or less a novice at spriting so I only used MS paint for the recoloring. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be attempt to make something better in the future! :)
(I suck at photoshop, but..I can at least try it~ B3)

author=Dudesoft..Is that right? Lol, shows what I know about these tools.
Hmm. You know you can do this with a hue slider, right?
author=LockeZYeah, I mainly only wanted to do the recolorings of the sprites themselves at first, but having someone that's able to do faces, even if the color is off by a bit is nice.

Anyway~ Lol, I think I'll just be sticking to game making for awhile now. Once I study up on spriting, and paint tool usage, I'll try my hand in this field again! ^o^

The hue slider - which is part of RPG Maker itself, not an image editor - has a tendency to turn his skin green or purple if you change it by too much. But you can generally slide it by about 10-20% and it'll still look fine.

What hue slider are you guys talking about? Which engine? How to use please?
Photoshop, probably.
