RPG MAKER MUSIC PACKS: WORTH IT OR NOT?

So I just got an email about an "RPG Maker Music Pack 3" for sale, with 40 tracks in it. From the name, I assume there was previously an "RPG Maker Music Pack" and an "RPG Maker Music Pack 2." Are these worth buying? (I have found that the default tracks don't contain all the emotions I'd like to convey, but I'm not sure whether those emotions would be better conveyed in tunes found elsewhere.)
It has 40 tracks and the sample there are from 8 tracks, check it out? Personally I own it and I like the tracks I'm hearing so far. Specially Carnival.

That one is also from RPG Maker 3 not 1 and 2.
What's the price tag? If you're willing to spend money, there are plenty of composers in this community alone who'd be willing to work for third world wages a fair price and provide you with something that'd be original to your project.

But then again, supporting Enterbrain for the sake of supporting Enterbrain, while getting some cool tunes out of it, is perfectly alright too.
The price tag is 0.50 for each song. So for all 40 tracks it's $20

$20 is a steal. The music's terrific. (I bought it.)

Carnival is Karsuman and I's favorite too, but I also love Boss 2, Shop and Memories.

Uh, the music pack is definitely worth the price. The price per song is super low, though lot of other people will be using the same music as you are. But all the tracks still come with all the rights of you doing whatever you want with them.

As for the composition quality, it's professional composition-, and soundscape-wise, though the melodies aren't all that memorable if you ask me. (The motifs aren't very defined) So, I don't think you'll get many stand out tracks, (except Carnival scene and whatnot) but you should still get a lot of songs that help you set the atmosphere for your game.
Carnival is also my favourite. Reminds me of FF: Crystal Chronicles.

$40 is a steal for these packs. So $20 is a fucking rip off for EB!. They are fantastic, professional quality tracks and worth every penny.

It's not a third pack of music, it's music from RPG Maker 3 from the PS2. Overall, the music is not bad if you are looking for royalty free music you can use for a commercial game. If you are looking to sell your game, or really like the music, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, if you aren't look to sell your game, or if you don't care where your music comes from, there's plenty of free music available online (Short Story, for one), as well as people that provide music to the communities, that may be a better choice for you.

On a side note I noted that RPG Maker 3 was on
the Plastion Network now as a classic. I think they
should have just made a pack like they did with the DS
and give us the tilesets, characters, battlers, etc...
Since owning a console version does nothing for you.

To note, we worked on making that DS version be compatible with RMVXAce. RPG Maker 3 is a 3d game. There's very little you can use in it unless you go High Fantasy Pack I guess.

Music is always good to get. I got the Eastern Dragon pack mainly for the music and that was only four tracks. Albeit it only cost £4 and came with about a hundred free art assets, but the point is that paying for high quality resources shouldn't be an issue if you personally like the stuff.

Although aye, it depends on your needs. Plenty of musicians who can make stuff specifically for your project too~
