[RMXP] BUTTON PUZZLE HELP?

Hello all.

I have this one room in my game with 4 buttons you need to press in the correct order to complete the puzzle. Each button is a different color and in another room there is a hint to the correct order.

How would I get it so that if you press the buttons in the correct order the puzzle ends, and when u press them in the wrong order (or leave the room) it resets?

Use a variable to track puzzle completion. Have an event for each button that has conditional branches checking the value of the variable. If it's the correct part of the sequence, add 1 to the variable. If not, set the variable to 1. Then you can branch for the variable's value being 4 and do whatever you need to do for the end of the puzzle. And in your teleport event for leaving the room, set the variable to 1 as well.
Yep have a variable keep track of what level of button you are. like VAR 1 = 0. Push the correct button you are at VAR 1 = 1 and go so on. If you fail to push the correct button VAR 1 = 0. Make sure to play positive and negative chimes.
