Wait what? So it's not 2v2? Rosey and Shades aren't fighting side by side, it's just one of them? Which one?
"Tag-Team" means you swap characters freely, but it is always 1v1, though in most of Tag Team games, the partner can jump in for a bitchslap here and there.

Oh, see, you didn't say that, the OP implied it was 2v2 and my votes (and several other people's) all described strategies where the two fighters on one side were working together against the two fighters on the other side. Cancel all my votes then, I need to rethink them.
How does tag team even work in voting? Like, if I don't even know which enemy one of my guys is fighting, how am I supposed to vote?

You don't have to cancel your votes. Though, instead of thinking of it as a fighting game, think of WWF. Tag in and out in your imagination for who you think trumps who and what the other team would do. It's still 2v2, in a sense that you can swap freely. It's just one fighting at a time. It's like if you are holding a controller, you can't control two characters at once.
I thought you guys would understand this most basic gaming concept. :(

Right, I understand swapping my guys out if I think it would help, and I even understand choosing what strategy my character would use without knowing whether other people would swap theirs out, but I don't understand voting on the final outcome of the battle without knowing whether other people will swap theirs out. Like, I just don't feel comfortable voting if I don't even know who is fighting whom.
Anyway apparently I can't keep myself from vastly overcomplicating this. So I think I'm just going to sit the voting out instead of spending the rest of the month making a fuss and annoying the hell out of you with my nonsense. I'll leave the voting to the spectators and the other contestants.

haha aw, poor Battledome event
there's no way I'm voting for all those matches o.o it's too much. i would suggest something slightly different.
from round 1 voting, knock out 1 team maybe by lowest votes(altho there might be lots of ties with 0 votes, choose at random).
then round 2 is made of 4 teams with different matchups. then again knock off 1 team.
and so on, until the final round is just 2 teams.
it's just too time consuming and...(to me) pointless to vote on it the way it is now

I don't like the way it's set up either. There's no spectacle in this way. Can we switch back? Or what? I need input. This wasn't supposed to be my event. Ark is vanished from the met, so I had to take over.

Match 1 Vote: TLP & Budz
Again, while not a particularly strong looking team, TLP and Budz could benefit a lot from their small hit boxes, fast movement and ranged attacks. Snorc will probably be the first one to go down due to its large size and slow movement. And while ArmorMans seems balanced enough to be able to handle the battle on its own, I'm putting my vote of confidence on TLP's team.
Match 2 Vote: Lia & Pepper
Lee & Rollout would probably use the same strategy I thought for them before, getting close with Rollout and switching to Lee for the kill. This may work wonders for Pepper, but Lia is a different story. Even with her slow speed, she may be able to endure Lee's assaults thanks to her great defense and attack power. Endurance being the key word that will give her the advantage.
Match 3 Vote: Zurgg & Merla
Once again, Usano looks like a great opponent but his fighting style seems to be focused on close range attacks and I don't know how well he could handle Zurgg's portal attacks. Iris may be useful thanks to her ranged and stunning attacks, but she seems to be the weakest of the four and will probably be defeated first. At the end Zurgg and Merla may win the upper hand.
Match 4 Vote: Recused
mahashanaH will keep Shades' & Rosey's powers rather than taking the powers of his current adversaries. Thus gaining slightly ranged attacks and increased strength. Which in combination with EXO's own power may be more than enough to take out Bety. Goatman may prove to be more of a challenge, mostly due the grossness factor, but I think they'll manage just fine.
Match 5 Vote: Dimae & Blibli
Just like the last time, Dimae & Blibli may pose a challenge to even well rounded opponents like Shades and Rosey. Blibli may be the first one to go down of the two, but if he manages to do enough damage, or even take out Shades or Rosey, he may make things easier for Dimae. Dimae in turn could hold very well on her own with her ranged attacks and flying movement.

Since it's 1vs1 tag-team, I'm pairing everyone together and deciding based on that. Ties are decided by the winner of the match-up between team captains.
Match 1: TLP & Budz
TLP vs. ARMOR MANS: Basically lasers vs. rocket fists. ARMOR MANS wins this one because of well, the armor.
TLP vs. Snorc: TLP can easily outmaneuver Snorc and blast him with punches from afar. TLP wins.
Budz vs. ARMOR MANS: How does an armor suit handle hug bursts of electricity? Not very well, probably. Budz wins this one.
Budz vs. Snorc: If Pokemon has taught me anything, it's that lightning beats water. Budz wins this one too.
Match 2: Lia & Pepper
Lia vs. Lee: Lee has the advantage of being able to get far away from Lia's attack range quickly, but unfortunately has to be close to his target to do any damage. Lia also has the advantage of endurance as ae has said, so Lia wins this one, I think.
Lia vs. Rollout. Rollout is basically a fly to Lia: Fast, but one good swat and it's dead. Rollout can only do about as much damage as a fly, too. Lia wins.
Pepper vs. Lee: Pepper might have a hard time hitting Lee with a laser due to his jumping, and Lee can probably deal more than a dent in Pepper's armor with his axe. Lee wins.
Pepper vs. Rollout: Pepper will have a very hard time hitting Rollout, but if Rollout tries to come in and strike Pepper, he can dodge and shoot her from behind. Ouch.
Match 3: Recused
Zurgg vs. Usano: Zurgg can use his portals for both offense and defense, and use his Dragon Dance momentum to strike fast and hard. With Zurgg's stamina, he can keep battling much longer than Usano as well, especially if he transforms.
Zurgg vs. Iris: Iris may have the least supernatural body build of anyone in the tournament, but her many years of training and self discipline greatly outmatch that of Zurgg's. If she's able to catch up to Zurgg and start barraging him with zapping punches, it won't be long before he gives in. I have to give this one to Iris.
Meerla vs. Usano: Meerla and Usano both have quick fighting styles, but Usano has the advantage of adaptability. Throw in the fact that Usano can transform into a feral beast, and we have a clear winner.
Meerla vs. Iris: Iris may be a master fighter, but she doesn't have the cunning and ruthlessness of Meerla. I can't see Iris overcoming the onslaught of Meerla, so Meerla wins.
Match 4: MuhashanaH & EXO
Bety vs. MahashanaH: shanaH can use Shade's power from the last battle for long range harpoon attacks, easily avoiding Bety's net. However, how accurate can half a harpoon be? Not to mention that shanaH can't avoid Bety forever. Bety wins. Also, Bety can just gobble up shanaH's fans from the Rosey-half of his powers.
Bety vs. EXO: EXO seems strong enough to take down Bety quickly, and probably hold back her net of death. I dunno, I just think EXO wins this one.
GOATESMAN vs. MahashanaH/EXO: GOATESMAN Doesn't seem to be able to do much besides be disgusting. I think he could be beaten easily by both EXO and MuhashanaH

Dimae vs. Shades: Shades is going to have a very hard time landing a hit on Dimae since she can just hide in her pocket dimension and because she has great evasion anyway. Dimae wins.
Dimae vs. Rosey: Dimae doesn't have the defense power to withstand the onslaught of Rosey's fans. Rosey wins this matchup.
Bli Bli vs. Shades: BliBli is a big enough target for Shade's harpoon, however if he switches to cat form then he'll be harder to hit. He'll also be easier to swallow, though...I'm giving the win to Shades this time.
Bli Bli vs. Rosey: Bli Bli can wipe the floor with Rosey's fans, and beat Rosey himself into submission.
Tie Breaker: If the team captains fight first(Dimae and Shades), then Dimae will likely win and switch out with Bli Bli to take care of Rosey.

Lia will slice and dice anyone who gets near her easily, and Lee doesn't appear to be someone who'd be taken down easily. Maybe a few lasers and giant axe slashes from Lia would calm the brute.
