BORDERLAND GAME JOURNAL THING WITH SIREN,

Pages: 1
So basically I am gonna do a game journal type writing where I play through the game, then give the character I play some personality and such for that game. So generally silent protagonists fit the bill. To start it off, prologue.

Ugh my life could not be any more annoying.
You wanna know who I am? The name's Irene. Irene Lilith. But most people knew me as the pop sensation 'Siren'. It was, like, a totally cool gig. I was universally popular Pop Star that nobody hated, and everyone loved. Single after single, hit after hit, album after triple platinum album, I had it all. And then one day...it all stopped.
Well, it didn't, like, just stop all at once. Some totally annoying reporter had it out for me and spread a rumor that I had no talent, and that I was siphoning it off of someone else. That 'someone' being a jealous ex-friend of mine, Natea Gwendolyn. She had gotten a hold of some device that let her sound exactly like me, and when she 'exposed her talent' to the crowd, they immediately flocked to her and left me in the dust. They didn't believe me, the person who sang to them all these years, but instead they listened to some stupid skank who had it out for me. Some fans they were...
But little do they know that, like, my Siren name is more than just some catchy nickname. It's what I am. I can, like, move in between dimensions and look invisible to the others around me and explode things and stuff. It's really cool. And I plan on using my power for a totally awesome venture to get my fame back: The Vault.
Legend says that, like, there's this planet called Pandora with a vault that has all this money and finding it will make someone famous and stuff. And if I personally found it, people will, like, love me again for being able to and maybe finally, like, believe that I was the real singer all this time. Then that bitch Natea will totally get what's coming to her.
So yeah, that's my story. I got some basic weapons training, honed my powers, like, a bit more, and am currently waiting for my spaceship to arrive. Oh, that must be it right now. I'll write in here as soon as I can. Peace!

(Be critical, tell me how I could improve my craft.)
Next part is ready to go.

Today was one of the longest and hardest days I have ever had in my entire life.
So my space shuttle got me to the planet of Pandora with, like, nice speed. However, a bit of talking with, like, the people who live in this town told me that the best first step would be a town called Fyrestone or something. And I didn't have a whole lot of money at this point, so I had to, like, go on one of those buses with the old guys. Fortunately there was only, like, 4 other guys here, so I wasn't, like, crowded or anything.
And the company on here was surprisingly interesting. One of the guys was a soldier, who kept, like, a rifle around to keep himself safe. There was a big beefy dude who looked like he could tear the bus in two with his bare hands. The other guy, like, kept to himself mostly, though, petting his bird, who was really super cute.
The creepiest one, though, had to be the bus driver, some really old Russian dude I think. He seemed to know a lot about what I was doing, though, so I couldn't be like, too weirded out, I guess. He was just so creepy like, though, and it left me a little uneasy.
The bus ride to Fyrestone took, like, 3 days, and all the other bus guys left during that. However, all of them, like, told me that they might help me if I get in way over my head. They seemed like nice people, so I hope to see them, like, sometime.
Things got especially weird just before I got to Fyrestone, though, when I got this weird vision thing. A woman in my head started speaking to me, telling me to do things, like meet a robot after I got off the bus. And as soon as I got off the bus, there he was, waiting for me. He led me to the city of Fyrestone, but it was, like, not even that easy because some bandits showed up. The soldier guy, though, had given me a submachine gun just before he got off the bus, and it helped me a lot killing the bandits.
After a while, we managed to get to Fyrestone, and the first thing I noticed was all the graves off to the distance by the gate, and it made me, like, wonder what in the world happened in this town. Definitely didn't help matters when the robot, like, referred to the doctor (Dr. Zed, as he is called) as the 'citizen' of Fyrestone. This town was bare of people, and I was the first one to show up in, like, a long time.
Dr. Zed wasted no time in getting me to work to fix his ruddy medical machine by collecting a part way out past the gates, which the robot was supposed to lead me to. However, the robot got, like, attacked by bandits and after dispatching them, the vision lady appeared and told me to fix him, which I did. Boy was that not easy, there was so much technical junk I couldn't figure out at first, but eventually I got him more or less running. And then he opened the gate for me, and I made my way through these dog-like creatures called Skags, vicious little buggers with mouths that open sideways who happened to be guarding the part I needed to fix the special machine. They take quite the beating, but I managed to kill the pack that was there and get the part that, like, fixed this vendor machine that gave me a shield after I put some money in it, which totally made my trip a lot easier.
Anyways, by the time I was done, it got a lot darker, so I had to call it a night, and here I am. As I said, it was quite a busy day, but I think I am making quite a difference here, even if it is only to a crazy doctor and a robot. Hopefully tomorrow goes, like, okay and I find this vault soon.
