I've had a love for RPGs - and games in general - for a LONG time. In fact, I'm pretty sure - even though it was slightly before me - the first system I played was an NES and the game of choice was Super Mario Bros. 3. My weapons of choice are RM2K3, RPG Maker 3, and if I had access to it (hopefully will eventually), VX (not Ace, though. There's just something about it...).
I dabble in the realms of music, art (a little of both 2D and 3D with Gimp & Blender), scripting (very little, but still learning), and to some extent, story-writing.
My favorite punctuation is the ellipsis...

Anyway, welcome to the site. VX Ace is actually not too bad. I only tried the trial but haven't used it much more than that though.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Even though I don't like VX Ace, "there's just something about it" seems like a silly reason to not use it. The only good reason to use VX instead of VX Ace is because people have created way more scripts for VX. Or because you already have VX and don't want to spend more money.
But no big deal. Use whatever you think you can best use to make the game you want to make! And then make that game! And then show us.

Some how I think The Real Brickroad would think otherwise, though contrary to his belief. It is a rather good game.
