Hiya, im2far4u! Welcome to RMN.
My advice for making games to you is live long and prosper.

Edit: What Marrend said is good too.

My advice is to not give out advice keep things small and simple. However, don't forget to experiment every now and again! You don't learn if you don't experiment!
the word noob is for noobs. Well... is my first game so I don't know if is true but the first game is always the hardest (that is what I hope)

Hope you like the community ;)
Hello Elijah!

Like Marrend said, keep it simple and don't overwhelm yourself. It's completely fine to make your first game only a few hours long. That way you increase your chances of completing it and you get to receive feedback and learn for your next games.

If you have an epic game you want to make, don't start with that one. Keep it for when you have a bit more experience.

Be ready to receive all kinds of criticism from people who play your game, and be ready to make some changes when it seems many people think something is not right.

Besides that, just remember to have fun!
We have a slew of articles about game design and development. Check them out! I've highlighted a bunch of them in the New to RMN? article (link in the footer below!)
