someone please help me, all of a sudden my game started acting really weird. when i start my game and go through my into it add a bunch of items into my inventory, when there is NOT an event set to do so. Not only that, if I got to equip something, that auto un equips it self when i leave the menu, ALSO. the monsters are NOT giving my characters XP when I kill them....and my guy is only at lv3 and the max lv is 99. someone please help shed some light.
That's odd. Check to see that there's not Common Events running or Parallel Processes anywhere. Try messing with an event to give and take stuff and see if that sheds any light.
It might be that you've messed with something recently that might have to do with this. Changed any items or such? Monsters?
If all else fails, try copying everything to a new project folder and see if that helps.
ok, i fixed it. but im lost. I had 16 events in the COMMON EVENT tab that were parallel process, but here is the things. NONE of them had anything to do with the problems i listed.

I am at a loss for words. No fuckin clue why that fixed the issue. ALL the issues, i changed all the common events to CALL instead of PARALLEL PROCESS. Maybe it was cuz i had to many PARALLEL PROCESS going at one time.

Make them dependant on switches, that way they can only run when the switch is turned on. Makes it a hell of a lot easier to use and cuts down on lag.
Yeah, you gotta be careful using Parallel Processes in RM2K3. For some reason it (along with loops) tend to get very squirrelly especially when there's many of them. A good suggestion would be to do as Liberty said and just in case, if you ever use loops, DON'T! Use labels instead, they're twenty times more stable.
Well, if you do use loops, remember to add a wait of 0.0 at the end of them. It cuts down on lag a bit.

And the ability to summon the "Office Whores" to deal damage to the enemies.

You gotta be really careful with parallel events.I put so many that my Side view game was ruined due to them.Nothing works properly in that game now.
