I was having some trouble with the pics in battle patch from cherry.
Is there a way to switch pics value in game? besides using the program and dragging rpgexe onto a value changer?

There are sometimes when I want pictures in battle and sometimes I don't.
I have certain transitions done through images before entering a battle * just a black screen waving across the screen* that I do not want in battle.

Is there a way to disable the pics in battle through game commands ?

I am not sure 100% now, but try setting variable 5000 to 3 or -1 or something else outside the defined 0...2 range.

I have tried the above method before posting.. and I tried it again just now with different variables.. but it doesn't do anything.

Is there a way to go around this ? If not, I think I'll just remove the transitions I created with pictures if it gets too complicated. =)
I tried it and it works. Setting variable #5000 to 3 disabled the pictures in battle for me.
Hmm. I tried doing that through an event on touch for the enemy/battle. I had variable 5000 set to 3 through variable operations.. however the pics are still there.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong...? How did you set the variable yourself ? Please and thank you!

Hi cherry.

Frustratingly enough, it still doesn't work.. i even tried hitting f9 and seeing variable 5000 already had a value of 3 yet the pictures were still on screen wavering. I can't seem to get rid of pictures in battle when i want to.. =/
Did you test that with my project? This is very strange, since at my computer it is definitely working with that exact project. Could you maybe add me in Skype (cherry-dt), I would like to find out what's going on together with you, so I can fix it.
