The revival role I was considering for this game... well, I'll talk about it when all is said and done.
...whaaat!!! Ivory and I posted in order to people stop posting since chana didn't knew it was hammer time. I am really piss off even if those were the rules.
The moral of the story is, mafia threads are more active when I'm off-line.

I'm aware of what some of you guys were trying to do with your after-hammer posts. Perhaps I'm being a little strict with giving you guys strikes. Yet, perhaps some good may yet come of this? Like, people would be more inclined to keep their own record of votes, to prevent further strikes? I dunno. I never, really, gave much consideration to strikes having any kind of timing-out mechanism. Like, if a person with strikes doesn't mess up within a Day Phase, a strike gets removed, or something similar.

I think modkilling chana was maybe a little harsh, since all of her strikes were for essentially the same thing (like, one post was just correcting another post and she didn't know that the hammer had dropped,) but there's not much that can be done about it now.
Especially since this game was small to begin with.
I think having a hard "strikes" system is kind of a misstep and that guidelines should be more fluid. Edit your post to correct a typo? Whatever, don't do it again. Communicate outside the thread? Cya, buddy. You're out.

Typically, the weak doctor role is one that dies if it protects the mafia. Not even sure how this role would function, but I guess we will see.
I think the issue with chana is that I took each of her posts after the hammer-drop as a strike. I probably should have been more lenient, and said, "Any number of posts after the hammer-drop is a strike." But, yeah, not much that can be done of that right now. I blame my stubbornness.
Maybe "bodyguard" would be the closest thing to what chana could do? Sadly, it is a rather moot point.

thx Gourd but, alas, everybody knows I'm town AND my power role, I don't see how that could be done.
Even though I was rather unfair to chana, and I do have two unused roles, I'm reluctant to revive her. I really think the best thing I can do at this point is, warn people when I see an infraction of the rules. If they persist, then I can deal out the strikes. That seems slightly fairer.
I wouldn't revive her at this point. She would just be a confirmed townie that mafia would have to kill again.
