CLOSAT - THE CULMINATION - {DEADLINE IMMINENT!}
Posts
Achievements are like badges to show what events and competitions you've taken part of or won. They also come with some makerscore which, at the moment, increases your locker space but will come in more handy eventually...
(You can check your Achievements by going to your Profile and clicking on the Achievements link there.)
Well, I'll send you out the Challenge details, but keep in mind that if it's too hard, you can just do a normal CLOSAT instead.

Strangely enough, the Challenge elements are coming together into a story easier than the normal ones... of course it is probably going to come off like an episode of Regular Show as written by a room full of inebriated penguins.
No, that's the normal CLOSAT.
The Challenge gives you more or less content and other rules you have to abide by. They might range from having to use a certain perspective, not use a certain letter, write only dialogue or adhere to a certain word range exactly.
You can opt to try the Challenge, then decide not to do it and instead use the initial content to write a normal CLOSAT instead... or take up the Challenge and earn an extra achievement.

Hmmmmmmmm...
To challenge or not to challenge, that is the question...
I'm interested to give it a try, just to see what you give me. I'll probably fail miserably though o_O

I'm still working out the amounts. I'm thinking somewhere in the 50-75 range for completing a Challenge, 20-30 for anyone who didn't finish the other CLOSATs to completion and about 50 for those who did.
Be happy. Some people have thousands of words to write. You got off easy, or did you? I think having more words would be easier than having less. Good luck with that, though you can decide to do a Challenge, but they are harder...
Tallied up you could have either:
25 for just a plain CLOSAT - One badge (Participation 1)
50 for just a plain CLOSAT (only for those who completed the CLOSAT challenges 1-6) - One badge (Participation 2)
100 for doing a Challenge (75 for the Challenge, 25 for participating.) - Two badges (Participation 1 and Challenge)
125 for doing a Challenge (75 for the Challenge, 50 for the CLOSAT challenges) - Two badges (Participation 2 and Challenge)

I dunno, some people got harder rules than others. Each Challenge is completely different to the others. Imagine having to write a 290 word challenge with 5 characters, 2 objects, one location, 2 actions, 2 situations and one theme, but also being limited to only past perfect tense and not using the letter 'e'. Or having to rhyme every second line. Or only being allowed to use dialogue. Or having to cram as many cameos in as you can. Or even not being allowed to let the characters interact in any way.
Yeah, there's some tough challenges out there. At least you get to choose your rules...

Er, wow. I didn't think the challenge would include having as few words as possible too.
I bet Trihan could whip up something fast though ._.

If you write your story first and want to do the challenge after your done, can you do the challenge. By this, I mean can you write your first story. then ask for the challenge to write another story? Or is it only one story per person. And if you can write more for this, what's the max?
I'm not sure if I can meet all the conditions of the challenge that I was given. I'll attempt as many as possible, though!
pyro: The max is 10,000 words (anything over that is considered a novella), though it you get really inspired, go for it. I won't stop you. As for a challenge and a normal, sure, but remember that the Challenge also incorporates the normal stuff - just has additions. Though if you remind me I can add and replace some things like locations and themes.
Marrend: Well, just remember that you can pick from the rules given, you don't have to use them all. That way you could have a chance to dictate just how hard it would be...
If you do want some more rules to pick from, let me know. The only problem is that you'll have to add an extra rule to your pick.
