You're not the only one who feels weird out, YM. I'm surprised no one feel this way other than you and chana. Throughout the game, cave didn't feel like his 'usual' self. He doesn't have to fakeclaim (does "omegacop" even count??), but throughout the thread, he didn't... hmm, "nitpick" at some players??? Well, he didn't nitpick some THAT vigorously. :s And just in case, you weren't lynched because of your fakeclaims before, half of the people who did lynch you were actually the whole scumteam and the other... still doesn't get it's your usual thing to do despite being his second game.

Cave, I've a few questions.
Firstly, you say that anyone can fake claim a character role and that's why no-one has called me out yet, but we've already established that the character I called is one of the main ones and in this series there just aren't that many different characters to choose from. So... why do you think that I have a fake character role? Do you have one?
Also, I have stopped the 'meta-bullshit' for now. I've also explained why I think (and I still do think it's relevent, but I won't start shoving it down all ya'll throats anymore because, hey, even I got annoyed at reposting it time and time again and I've pointed it all out already.) that meta might be a larger part of the game than in other mafia games.
And I'm getting a scummy vibe off you again - I have for quite a while actually. You've been gunning for me since the start and yes, I was being annoying back then but I've since calmed down and yet you're still adamant in going for me.

Also, no-one has brought up fake roles before you did (of if they did, I didn't notice) and you've been pretty adamant at pointing out that a loved character can be an independent one - but the only reference you have is a game you yourself ran. Hell, I'm making up new and interesting roles for when I host my own game, but I wouldn't judge other peoples' games by those roles because I twist them to be different.
And another thing, you've been setting off my scum alarm from the start but I figured you were just trying a new style of game play, but now that someone else has started to point out the inconsistencies I'm starting to re-evaluate my initial dismissal.

This game's meta-ing has made me reconsider about my game's characters and flavors. Maybe I should just reshuffle them so it won't turn into a trainwreck.
Just make sure to put in a disclaimer: FLAVOUR IN GAME MAY NOT BE COMPLETELY TRUE TO SOURCE MATERIAL.

You know what I think of this game? This.
...and the mastermind is a very, very cunning player. Not gonna name names yet, but feel free to interpret it however you want. Maybe it's the 'confusion' that's making me frustrated. Maybe it's no one willing to jump on a bandwagon that I can't analyze their actions/behaviours. Maybe it's because some townies actually have different goals that makes them seem scumy when they shouldn't be. All I know is, that this 'confusion' here, might actually be just a ploy and that person is actually acting, not on their own, but from someone's order.

Time is running out. Nolynch is counterproductive, so we should decide.

Of course you would, Gourd. That said, I don't trust Gourd, Cave or rabitz (though rabitz not as much as the other two). That said, if you can convince me of someone being very suspicious, then I'll consider a lynch vote on them.

I am hoping the cop could do a check with lib or cave, preferrably the latter.
This is a game that has four friggin' scums, 1 (or was it 2?) fucking indi and a question mark. IF we have an SK/vig fucking up this night and we lynch wrong today, we will end up with 3 dead. At worst if we assume the question mark sides with maffy, it'll become 6:6, a definite and precise, and also the fastest win for them and the most humiliating loss for us. I hate this say this but I think a nolynch would be the optimal option for us.
If one of us dies this night and an extra one does too (if an sk/vig would be willing to kill), then it would certainly help us narrow down the suspects. I'd say we stretch this day as much as possible to put some pressure on the mafia.

Feel free for any cop to check me. It'll come back townie, like I've already said. Of course, that'd be a waste of an investigation and having the cop come forward at that time would be painting a bullseye on him/her.
Unless we can get proof that the doctor is who they say. If that is so, then the next night they can team up - cop being protected by doctor. Unfortunately the doc already outed himself, so that makes him a prime target for tonight.
This is why, if you have a good role, you shouldn't role claim first day. Especially in a long game like this one (15 players...)

But yes - day 3 or 4 - since day two would be tomorrow and it'd mean we only had one chance. If on day 3 or 4 we haven't hit a mafia I'll have lost my win condition anyway - unless we hit indy or ???, that is.

I don't need to nitpick at posts. I have several theories about who is who. If Liberty is mafia, chana definitely is because she says she is scummy and won't vote her. Probably YM too. I have reason to believe that Gourd is town, and I think Idida is just pretending to still be reading this thread.

duuuaah yes I do Oh WAIT IT WAS A TRICK!!! You know what one of the villains in FF2 mafia claimed? You should, because I linked you to the thread. He claimed "Firion." As in, the main protagonist of FF2. Jeroen was in that game, almost got owned by the fakeclaims, and it was his first mafia game, so you are deluded if you think he didn't include any fakeclaims in a game that is heavy on flavor. Unless Death Note only has 15 characters total, your argument is total wash.

There are four Kira supporters (Mafia in this game), 2 'Mafia' (Independents) and a ???. I'm thinking the ??? might be Ryuuk. Maybe. The more I think on it, the more I think Mello would be an Independent. (One thing that was wrong with my theories before was that I hadn't read the roles correctly and took it to mean that there were 6 mafia - 2 being the main roles and the other four being like a cult thing, seperated from the real mafia, but still a threat. Hence why I was pushing for Mello to be ??? because I thought that was the only Independent role. >.<; )

Not only has Liberty destroyed most of day 1, she is and has for a while now been plainly lying and misrepresenting people in her posts.
Even I'm slightly frustrated at Liberty thanks to all that reading I had to do, but as I don't think she's a Mafia/Kira supporter for the reasons I mentioned, I'd rather not lynch her because IMO it's not in the spirit of the game to lynch a fellow Innocent merely for inconvenience.
What reasons? That she's been stubborn with her metagaming for 95 percent of her posting despite numerous people telling her to knock it off? This is not evidence of being town. Does everyone remember how Liberty acted in Higurashi mafia? Whatever happened to that?

The problem I have with your proposal's that there's always a chance you're fakeclaiming a 'weak doctor' in order to protect both yourself and CAVE_DOG.
