WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST QUESTION IN LIFE?

My question is always:

Why me? Why do all the bad things seem to happen to me? Of course, worse things have happened to other people, and I've never had anything particularly horrible happen to me by chance, but whenever something goes wrong and I'm in the moment of the accident those 2 words always pop up in my mind.

The answer to "Why me?" is because the Event is a pack hunter. Sure, you might be able to see the one in front of you, but it's the ones that are creeping up just outside your periphery vision that are the dangerous ones!
My question, is very uncommon among people of my age. Don't laugh, don't say anything rude if you say anything at all, but now since this thread has come up, I can't escape making this post...this question, itself is inescapable...

My question is, "Why the fuck can't I ride a bike?"

My bike to my right, taunts me, as I see a bike or even HEAR the word bicycle, I think of that bike, and imagine riding it, but then my mind always goes to a bad thing that could happen, for example, me falling because I can't turn or stop the bike and being in so much pain that I can't get up and then I get ran over by a car. I know it's fear, but I can't let it rule my life, and yet I do let it. My parents keep threatening to sell it or take it back, and I don't want them to, because I want to learn how to ride before I move out of Florida. I want to ride in the state I was born in, but to tell the truth, I kind of already did, but it was when my Dad pushed it and I just rode, I couldn't stop, and almost fell. I can't start it on my own sadly, and balance is also a factor in my problems. I must be worthless, me being a teen I can't even ride a skateboard right and I have one...
It's just sad to live my life sometimes...

@Pyrodoom : it's just a moment of psychological fragility, you'll get over it, and... your life will be full of other surprises!

Yay! But...what if my dream won't come true when I want, like, what if the bike is taken away before then, or we move. Then I'll have to wiat even longer.

Do you know approximately when?

No, alas, I don't. How about asking a friend to help you at first? or getting those small wheels to screw on the back wheel until you can get rid of them?

I asked a friend, and I always feel that something bad will happpen, especially about the fact that they are watching, it kind of gets me worried that they will get angry or laugh at me if I fall.
And I had the small wheels before, that's just practice, and I've done it when I needed them, I have to do it right, I can't just keep practicing with the wheels until I feel I don't need them, because by then, I would feel dependant.

So it's the same problem with the friends or the bicycle... you're just feeling terribly insecure, you can try to get over it or if it's too overwhelming try putting just one small wheel back, maybe that would do the trick, or even the two, DON'T WORRY you won't become dependant, sometimes you'll feel like getting rid of them and you will.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I would suggest you start out training on a silent gravel road with no cars around. You may fall a couple of times, but if you wish to overcome your insecurity, there's no better way. If you fall, you'll see it doesn't hurt, it isn't too bad. You'll be able to get back on the horse (or bicycle in this case) and you'll learn to ride it eventually. Perseverence is very important. I know it's hard to overcome your fear, but quite often (cycling included) you will be rewarded by the sweet taste of victory in the end.

Thanks guys, I'll try and find somewhere I can ride where there are no cars around.
"is there life after death?" Nope.
"Does Karma exist?" Nope.
"What is our purpose? " To exist. Nothing more.

My question is: When we realize that interstellar travel is unfeasible, and when our planet's atmosphere is eventually stripped away and we become a desert planet (and eventually get consumed by the sun), what will be humanity's legacy? (Will there be one?)
how do you fix this fucking android tablet?

When we realize that interstellar travel is unfeasible

You sound so sure of that

Well... He's right we have yet to find a planet we can live on that is sort of close by...
Maybe we could try a wall-E like procedure if we ever do find one, though.

You seem so sure about ALL of that, and you being the maker of the site, are now apparently are about to start a debate of religion.
Good job.
I know, your opinion, we all don't live in the same country, but still. You seem SO sure of that.
"Is there a life after death?" Answer:Depends on your religion.
"Does Karma exist?" Answer:Depends on your beliefs.
"What is our purpose?" Answer:No one really knows, choose your own purpose in life, and fulfill it to see if it is the real purpose of life. Experiment with YOUR purpose.

Mow Kentona's question:

"When we realize that interstellar travel is unfeasible, and when our planet's atmosphere is eventually stripped away and we become a desert planet (and eventually get consumed by the sun), what will be humanity's legacy? (Will there be one?)" My answer: You know, if people can go to the moon, as early as 1969, we should be seeing going to Mars in the next few years, and probably see if we can create shuttles/rockets that can travel even further, into space...the final fronteir.
Excuse me about that, son of a Star Trek fan over here, and your avatar, I couldn't resist. XD
Well, so that entire first part of your question is untrue, or so some may think. Next thing I want to say about this is that, you have no religion I'm guessing, so in my own right, I'd have to say that, though I'm Christian, I would have to think that there will be no legacy of us, because I'm guessing if aliens exists and aren't showing themselves, they don't know us, so that idea of others remember us forever doesn't work. Plus, our race and Earth will die even before te Sun engulfs us. First, war will destroy most of the people, and pollute everything, then the planet and the rest of the people die in the radiation, pollution, and filth that's left of the planet. Then about 5 billion years later the remains of Earth will be charred. :3 happy thoughts right?
Our civilization is currently at 0.7H type.
(A factor of a 1000 smaller energy consumption than a type-I(1.0) status.)
Optimistically, the technological growth of any civilization is always exponential
as long as we survive in the process. So far Ion-engines have succeeded in several inter-planetary missions including the stardust approaching comets.
New propulsion methods are currently being developed by NASA. Those include the magnetic plasma-Ion propulsion which will hopefully be tested as early as 2014.
A much more powerful Plasma-Fusion rocket can actually reach the nearby stars
like Alpha Centauri in only a few decades. A Fusion powered engine will also be the ultimate energy source once we achieve a type-I(1.0) planetary status.
My estimate is that it wont happen for another 10-48 years in the future.

Even if there isn't a war, at some point the north and south poles will slowly switch around, creating a massive ecological massacre and killing all humans... so... yeah...
At least we won't be around to see it.

Well it happens so slowly that I bet humans could probably adapt to it. It's not like the poles would switch overnight. That stuff takes millions of years.

You know what else could happen. The continents could move leaving an ocean where there used to be earth! Drowning all the humans!

Will tuna become extinct?
I hope so.
I freakin' hope so.

Tuna tastes horrible.
End of monkey.

Yes, but the people at sea, can get killed by the continents moving if they move quickly enough, which isn't realistic at all.

The actual poles, or their magnetic fields?
