I saw a character set on line for RMVX/Ace that was a re-make of one of the old sets for RM2K/3. Is there a full (or near full) set out there? Face sets would be nice to if they exist, thanks guys and gals in advance.

Here's a link to a whole page full of 'em! Still trying to find faces, though.
OH MAN....I so love you right now (dont tell my wife.) thanks.
It's cool! I can't find any facesets though, sorry. I don't believe anyone has made them yet from what I can find on Google. D:

i found some actually. Not all of them, but what I need.
Oh okay! Maybe my Googling skills aren't what they used to be.
Could you maybe share them (or a link or something) here so if anyone stumbles across this topic, they'll find them all in one nice place? It's such a nice feeling when that happens when you're desperately looking for something.. XD

Sure, they are actually in XP format, but that is very fixable. Here is the cool thing, it has like almost all faces from rm2k/3 and rmvx just not ace. I'm sorry but I don't know who the creator is, if you know please tell me so I can give credit.
Here is a sample, so you can see the art style.

The original site for the charsets (including VX'd versions of the XP RTP and some other stuff) can be found here:

Hooray for people who don't give a fuck about the original creators. ;_;

i'd love to get my filthy mitts on the OP request just not the RTP per se. if someone converts some of the other great 2k(3) resources for use in vx(ace) i will be happy as a klam. nothing in particular there was just a general wealth of rips and public domain gfx that were available in the olden days that haven't been ported to vx(ace).
not that i won't go ahead and yoink the remade RTP stuff. never know when u'll have a use for it. thanks guys!
is it me or do the 2k(3) dudes look WAY better in vx ace style <3
@craze it is a really good practice to give credit to the initial creators but to be fair it is much harder to find stuff on those wapanese websites because they are in wapanese. wakarimasu-ka?

you got a knack for being a jack ass, try knocking it off some time. At what point did I say I didn't give a fuck about the creators. This is what I ACTUALLY said I'm sorry but I don't know who the creator is, if you know please tell me so I can give credit. So, instead of being a jerk off, learn to read better. Good day.

YMMV, but I personally like the original RM2K(3) RTP style better. (。= ω =。)

I would especially love to see all the old NES Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy rips (tiles, battlers, sprites, etc.) done for RM2K/3 ported over to Ace, now that Ace re-introduces unlimited tilesets.

Run them through a 2x pixel resize filter, cut-'n-paste as appropriate. Even a monkey can do it.
True, but the monkey would need a lot of free time. Much more for the cutting and pasting than for the 2x pixel resize filter since VX is very finnicky about how tiles have to be laid out, formatted, and organized.
Also, I know you were using hyperbole, but an actual monkey could not actually do that. : )
