[HELP] SPRITE TROUBLES

First, Mods, if this is the wrong area for this type of thread, please move this post.
I've been trying to import sprites into the Resource Manager, but when I try to use the sprite, it only takes a piece of the sprite. Attached is an example of what I'm talking about.
Has anyone encountered this? Can anyone help me?
This is my 'transparent/semi-transparent' screen. The white is both.
This is what happens when I try and select the graphic for the Actor.
And what happens when I select the prior picture.

When importing sprites, you need to add an $ in the name of it like $Julie. Do that, and it'll work just fine~ :)
(Also, I'm noticing that there's some white parts on the imported sprite, so make sure to have the color you want gone to all be the same color so that it takes it away when importing.)

It works!
Thank you, my friend! :D
Glad I could help, lol only do that when importing characters..anything else it doesn't really work for. :)
author=Sanaauthor=StormBladeNope, just import them as they are.
So I don't need that for Facesets and tilesets?
Thank you again, I appreciate all the help. :D
Actually, it should only be used when you have a sprite sheet with only one sprite one it (that is 3x4). Usually sprite sheets (or charactersets) have eight sprites/characters on them, so they're divided by eight, which is why you saw only part of your sprite. Adding the $ tells the program that it's a sprite sheet with only one character on it, instead of eight.
If you're importing face sets, be sure to have space enough for eight faces or it will only take part of the face. (That is, you can't have just one face by itself. It must be on a sheet with room for eight faces.)
