It's me again. I've been toying with the buffing and tried using the condition section to have them in a state that has them in a defensive stance for one turn.
Now I also put the "Base Statistics Alteration" to "Double" in the Defense Area for a Heavy defense skill for one turn.
For Mediguard the person recovers 20 HP after that turn while defending heavily.
If i may ask, does this "Base Statistics Alteration" cut or add to the stat or subtract? just curious.
Here's a visual to help if I'm not doing it right.

The math it applies to base statistic alteration is what is on the box: It will either double it (x2) or half it (/2). No addition or subtraction takes place. However there is a problem: The check boxes for defense/intelligence are switched in some translations of 2k3. To see their real order select the 'Attack' check box to highlight it and push tab. It will move the highlight to the 'Defense' check box which may be next to the Intelligence text (it was in my 2k3). Tab again and it will go to the intelligence check box (which was next to defense) then agility (normal). Keep this order in mind when setting double/half conditions for defense/intelligence if it doesn't go through the check boxes as the interface would suggest.
Also remember that is a 2k3 turn which lasts until another combatant takes a turn.

Oooh, this is rediculous how they confuse the stats, and wow I've been reading some articles on the turn part. Thank you for the help!
Edit
I just did the Stats check, Defense is Intelligence... wow, maybe its time I upgrade from Rm2k3 >.>...
Oh another question. Does the same apply for the Skills tab? other than int and agi being labelled incorrectly..
