RPG SETTINGS

If you could make an RPG in any setting at all, what would that setting be? Are there any unusual settings you'd like to see more games in? Imperial Japan, Egypt, The Wild West?

I'm thinking about making an RPG with graphics I'll make from scratch. Since I'll be making all the art anyway I didn't want to do the typical high fantasy setting, it's just been done to death and I want to draw something fun and new. I've made my own list of all sorts of settings but I'm not feeling particularly drawn towards any of them.
This is a truly inspiring setting : Your name is Ralph and you are the chosen warrior to defeat the demon king.

My setting :
1. In an alternate universe, or the future where highly advanced technology.

2. A world where I am the last man alive, and all the girls are trying to get pregnant with me... ;)
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I want to see an RPG set entirely in a 1980s hair metal concert.

Also, to a lesser extent, one onboard a meteorite headed for Earth, one in a world made entirely out of cake, and one during the US Civil War.
World War 2 is a setting I'd like more RPGs in. In fact there's lots of historical settings I'd like to see (most pre-WW2, but you know an RPG set in the 80s wouldn't be too bad either).

But yeah WW2, maybe something set during the Blitz. Possibly in resistance France or on the Eastern Front. Maybe even in places that weren't directly involved in the war, but the war is just background flavour. Lots of possibilities.
Greek times. I quite love Greek mythology and such.
A tropical islands/jungle type of setting or an underwater setting.

I would also like to see some impossible settings. During the 8-bit era, I played one game where two of the stages were a toy land and a cake/candy land respectively. I'd love a setting that allows such types of environments to exist. Other than that, I'm fond of the multiple small worlds type of setting present in Kingdom Hearts games as well.
Im pretty fine with everything, except settings based on japan or... i guess u could say, generical-fantasy-medieval?
Asian settings never really seem to have the culture or dialogue well-done, sorry to offend... (•-•)'\
