A bit of a RPG2003 problem Topic

So OK, I follow several tutorials on how to fix the font is RPG maker 2003, and I still have the font problem. Can somebody help me out?

~I followed the install the patch and reset the computer Method, but it didn't work.
~I tried downloading the fonts, but they still didn't change.

Are there anymore methods that may work?

what font are you trying to patch in? there are restrictions on what fonts are compatible with 2k3. it has to be a certain file type and the character size must be around 6x9 pixels. if a font isn't compatible it will either look squished together or it will continue to display the default font.

I'm using the RPG maker 2000 font patch, as that seems to be in several RPG Maker 2003 tutorials.

I would suggest the FF6 font style. (That's the one I'm using right now.)

oh, you mean fixing the problem where the default font is all bunched up. duh.

what version of windows do you have?

did you install the font? right click->install (vista+)or copy the font file into C:/windows/font(XP and less).

I use XP, and I did copy the font file into "C:/windows/font" like you said, the were still jumbled though.

Make backup copies of the RPG Maker fonts, then delete the RPG MAKER fonts from C:/windows/font and then install them again, it should work.

Also, I think cherry had a cool program that allowed to change between a limited amount of fonts.
