It should run perfectly fine with them considering it was brought out in the past year.
No issues that I know of, but if you do have an issue, check with the official forums. They're pretty helpful and know what's what when it comes to any major issues that might arise.

I'm not sure about Windows 8, but it should work fine with Windows Vista and 7, and probably XP too. As Libby said, it just came out last year so it's not dated software or anything.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Some games that use the Japanese .dll file for VX Ace will have random crashes in Windows XP. They will run fine on Windows Vista and higher, though.
This is a pretty rare problem. Very few English games use the Japanese .dll file, and even fewer utilize the feature that crashes the game. But I've run into it.
If you're making your own game, this isn't a problem. You won't be using the Japanese files. It's only a problem when downloading games made by other people who did crazy things (like start making their game in the Japanese version and then convert it to the English version).
