HALI'S 1000TH COMIC PAGE

It's been a long, long time since I first started writing comics. I picked it up out of the blue one day in high school. That was late August of 2004. Just yesterday, I drew my 1000th full-length page. Since a lot's changed since I last tried to share my artwork with you guys, I figured what the heck.

In celebration of reaching such a tremendous number, I decided the 1000th page would be a remake of the 1st page, so they could be compared to see just how far I've come. Unfortunately, the forums (probably) aren't big enough for you to properly view them here. By the way, my first comic series was a shitty recreation of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

1000th Page: Back to Square One


Now, I know this thing isn't perfect. If I had to criticize myself, I'd say I made the colors in the second half too saturated, affecting the first half (since that's where they were generated from). I could've placed a few word balloons better, my handwriting is still just barely acceptably legible, and some of my older humor is just too juvenile for redemption. Otherwise, I think it's pretty good, and I hope I can share more of what I make with you guys here. At least without getting torn a new anus.
