AN RPG SPECIFIC SPRITE MAKING PROGRAM, OR A TUTORIAL?

Curious if anyone knows of an RPGM specific sprite editor, or a tutorial on making them specifically for VX. I'm setting up a game I'm toying with with the default four sets included with lite at the moment, but would like to make some basic ones myself. =)

(I have some spriting experience, mostly personal projects in the past, I'm just curious if there are any guides for VX based ones, though.)
I found several on youtube when I first started making sprites myself, I also know of several sites that include those tutorials for VX sprites. I found this one most helpful: http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/5717/ellenorrmvxtutorial.png

I would look up how to sprite or sprite tutorial on youtube, you'll be surprised how much you can learn.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

There isn't an RPG Maker specific sprite editor. iDraw was designed for RPG Maker 2000/2003, but won't work with RPG Maker XP/VX/Ace. Personally I use Photoshop; Gimp is a popular choice as well.

As long as you don't use MS Paint you should be fine. MS Paint will put everything on one layer to make your life miserable, strip all the transparencies out of your images, read your mind and only anti-alias when you don't want it to, randomly delete all your undo steps, take your future wife hostage, put balogna on the hood of your car, drink all your beer, drop your car keys down the sewer, and email your entire porn directory to your mother.

I think I may have just died from laughter, but yes personally I use Photoshop for my sprites, but before I owned it I used Gimp regularly and it is really nice as well, a bit complicated sometimes, but for something as basic as spriting, it works wonders.
Pixelformer is spiffy. Paint.net is less precise, but I like to name drop it whenever possible. Graphics Gale is unparalleled and has come from Mt. Olympus to grace us with magnificence, but you have to be willing to deal with its quirks. Like not really being English.
