TOMORROW IS THE END OF THE WORLD

CloseSo we all know this. Tomorrow is the end of the world. I remember back in the early nineties I read one of those books on paranormal stuff. It was a series and I don't exactly remember what this particular book was about (though I remember that there was one on ghosts and one on aliens. The aliens' one is where I first encountered the Men in Black, which would later be the subject of a movie!) but there's always loads of those fun mysteries in ancient South American cultures. I remember reading Däniken and whatnot too.
Back then though the date was the 21.-23. of December. I suppose they weren't entirely sure how to read the calendar. But for ages now the date has been. Tomorrow.
Back then I thought that maybe I'd do something special on that day the world ended. But like all things I haven't really planned anything. Days come and go and it's a bit sad that this day would pass without much fanfare.
HOWEVER. What about you guys? How are you going to celebrate the end of the world? It's put here right in the middle of Christmas stress but it's also on a Friday which means that you might have Saturday off. Maybe the end of the world is a day of full on partying? (I, unfortunately, have to go to work on Saturday. But maybe I'll do some kind of "I survived the end of the world" celebration on the 22nd!)
So any plans for the apocalypse fellas?

I just bought a Vault 8 jumpsuit and some coca-cola, so I might tolerate living in a Vault.

I will...AH SCREW IT! There is nothing special about tomorrow sadly. If something were planned for it, most likely we would of been told about this special thing, since we all know it won't happen. Plus sadly, I have sometimes been proven to just be lazy when it comes down to doing even my favorite stuff, so don't expect anything from me! I may just go around annoying the shit out of people in real life, telling them it's the end of the world. :3

Well, im a girl lol. XDD But yea, i was... gonna make gingerbread houses w/ some friends on Friday. Unfortunately.. it got cancelled for the same reason as u-- some people had to work, and the hostess's parents were gonna have friends over.
i might be going to one on Saturday though, idk. And apparently theres gonna be an ugly sweater thing at school. : p

I'd have liked to draw a comic on mankind's final day, but I'm unfortunately booked. I have work from 7 'til 3:30, after which I'm visiting with my sister and mom for dinner, followed by an evening of family game fun. Free time will not be a thing.
But at least I get to spend the final moments with my loved ones, so...

Man, I've waited for this day for a big deal of my life... Being Mexican one hears all about Mayan legends since an early age, and besides that I grew up reading stories about Nemesis, Nibiru, Planet X or however you wanna call it, and all that kind of crazy stuff. And so now, knowing that nothing is going to happen is kind of disheartening. :(
But what is worse is that my game was supposedly going to be about this stuff... You know that ominous feeling you had when you were a kid playing Chrono Trigger prior to 1999? But afterwards you were like: "1999? Such a meaningless number!" Well, the former is what I wanted to aim for with my game, but now it's going to be the later...
I think I'll spend the entire day weeping for being a lazy, basement game developer. :(
