CloseHey, everyone! I'm Zayoru, a recent high school graduate and aspiring video game designer.
I've been designing my own games in dozens of notebooks since I was a kid and decided it was finally time to start developing them. I recently purchased RPG Maker VX and have been learning how the program works (variables, event coding, mapping etc.)
My main project is a 10-15 hour Gameboy-inspired Adventure/RPG with custom graphics/sound and a heavy emphasis on exploration, culture and originality.
Basically, I'm just an average guy who loves to play RPGs and plans on developing his one day! :D

It will be xD As ambitious as I sound, I'm actually creating smaller games at the moment to get used to the program so by the time I begin my main project, it will be super polished.
And thanks, so far this site seems pretty awesome and I really dig the games as well.

Fey, Finding Eden, Hero's realm, Visions and Voices, Star Stealing Prince, Master of the Wind, Princess Princess, and Mont Asall.
Mont Asall happens to be made by the same person who made Paradise Blue, and you'll probably learn the most from Fey. Of course, those aren't all the good games RMN has to offer, but these are some of my favorites. If you want a bigger list:

That's actually my preferred method as well start small, work up.
