CloseOh hey. I'm now posting this from the local hospital. I fractured my stirrup bone. I hope you all appreciate what I've had to go through to display this urgent message to your eyeballs.
Weirdness aside, I'm a big lurker of this site. I've actually read through almost every thread in the game development and theory forums. I find your discussions here to be mature, enlightening, and rich. I've played through a few of the games that are featured here (my favorites being LockeZ's Vindication which is hilarious and Kentona's Hero's Realm). I'm a huge fan of NicoBizzle's let's plays. I also watch Liberty's videos every now and again. You should totally upload more Liberty. I'm also very impressed that this site is maintained by only several administrators.
With all of my fanboy gushing I suppose it's apparent that I have a lot of admiration and respect for this site and its community, and I'm excited to finally start contributing!
A little about myself for the curious:
I'm a rogue vigilante who often peruses grocery stores in search of villainous burglars. I am adept at traveling diagonally. I love science, and I'm currently in the process of attaining a degree in biochemistry. I love writing, and I want to be a published author one day; I am suddenly very nervous about the prospect of some nefarious few rereading my post with a finely calibrated grammatical device after having read the previous sentence.

hehe whoops forgot to mention anything about that. I'm currently making a freeware RPG with Game Maker. I'm also simultaneously writing a novel with the same plot that I plan to release at the same time as the game. The point of the novel is to expand on the themes and explain some of the more technical details of the plot that wouldn't fit or make sense in the game's exposition. I'm having tons of fun. I can't wait to share more of it with you guys.

As a writer and linguist who realises people have no idea what grammar is, meh. I also approve of your post however, because it's witty.
