RM TIMELINE?

So, I have got this weird idea, of wich I haven't seen anywhere...
...Of making an RpgMaker timeline. There's Wikipedia's chronoline about wich system came first and stuff, and there are more similar things scattered across the internet... Wich isn't my focus. I'd like to eternize every RPG maker era within a concrete timeline... Since, for example, we seem to be approaching (or amidst) the "era of VxAce". As far as I remember there were a few notable eras, such as "The Era of SDK" "The Era of Rudra", I don't know, I can't research about it because... Now, it's mostly gone. All that's left are individual games - without the situational frame around them to understand what sort of movement has let them be.
Since all this information has been seized due to sites vanishing, haters, noncaring an all these things... I think it's more than fair to all that came before us AND to us to create a proper RM timeline.
After all it might have been erased from the internet, but not from some of the older user's minds & eyes.
I... I have no idea how to begin though. Also, there COULD be something similar already out there, if there is, please, sorry.
So... Anyone wants to help composing the timeline? Any ideas? <3

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Well, here's a link to Don Miguel's website. http://rpgmaker2000.narod.ru/ Astonishingly, it's still there - and unchanged since 2005, which is when he was shut down. The forums are gone, though.
If you don't know who Don Miguel is, you're in over your head.

I know, I love this site. ^^
I really adore it. =D
Especially due to it being unchanged, I know a few more frozen sites too, and if people still have urls of now dead sites, we can always use the Wayback Machine to savage whatever was saved by its bots ^^
Mmmm...
Queenscourt also holds a hideous ammount of memorable games, but not so much as their background, though... Hmm, I'll start building the timeline format. =]

Here's a bit of... inside info, if you know what I mean. Get ready... Vx Ace is... pretty much the most recent, I think. Didn't see that coming, did you? Anyway, sorry for being useless...
Check the Misaos history. That should give you a rough impression of the english rm scene. This, because the winner usually managed to amass a good deal of people to vote for his/her game, thus probably having the attention of a good deal of people. Though I've seen german rm sites with rm projects that made me think they are in a league of their own. Like, lots of unknown yet very impressive-looking games.
In either case, I've been told that rm95 had its popular phase. Scope wise, I'd start the timeline there. I can only remember A Blurred Line being hyped (see misaos) and The Way and a story of NigSek being the hype before ABL, and a time where I was a young boy and got excited over these misao awards all the forum seniors were talking about... but all those stories are from old, subjective memories.
I wonder what your criteria are of defining an 'era'. A certain threshold of people aware of a rm game / rm event? I suppose you'd want to list some big rm community sites. Heck, I'd already be interested in just seeing the rm communities come and go (along with active member count on the timeline). I bet you can find lots.
