I'm trying to make a puzzle game and am trying to make some puzzles where you have to move objects into a certain spot. Now I found out how to make the objects move. But I can't find out how do I get them to start an event when moved into a certain spot. Please does anyone know how to do this?
After they're moved, have them set their Map X and Map Y coordinates to variables. Have a parallel process running on the map that compares the values of those variables with two numbers you've set in the parallel process (the Map X and Map Y of the spot you want to trigger the event). If they're both equal, then have it do whatever event you're looking for - the event is on the spot you're looking for.
I've been frustrated over that all day and now I see it pretty simple. Anyway thanks man I don't think I would had found that out on my own.
No problem - there's a lot of cool things you can do with a combination of the abilities at your disposal, it's just a matter of figuring out the combinations in the first place.
