hello there, my name is jelle and i joined RMN because i...want to make games? i don't think there's much else to do, i could play some but thats for later, right now i'm looking around for some handy tutorials, i'm planning to make a fantasy card game/RPG and for that i'm going to see if i can start with creating a simple fantasy card game first, and thats what i'm going to do now! cya!

That sounds interesting, haven't really played much fantasy card games except for uh, Deus-something (which I've stopped halfway because the rules were kinda confusing) and erm, that Hex card game from Last Scenario (if you count that one??)

i play elements the game, and as for making a game, that will have to wait until i can buy one of those programs (i had expected there would be a free trial or something to learn the basics)

i stil plan on doing it, but i'll need money and a way to buy stuff on the net first

There is a free trial of RPG Maker VX Ace (30 days) as well as RPG Maker VX Ace Lite, which is free forever, but comes with some heavy restrictions. There are also several free RPG making software like Sphere.

where can i find this RPGmaker VX ace lite? and maybe a description of what it does? it would be good to get some practice and see if i can actually make a game
