I first learned of RPG Maker in an old magazine. It was an article on the Super Nintendo RPG Maker. I didn't start using RPG Maker until the first day the playstation version was released. I was immediately hooked ever since.

I was hooked with 2000 version then 2k3, then drop it, then... I lost interest and just rmn events manage to inspire at least a little of game making, hope your case it's different, good luck, hope you like the community ;)
I remember that Nintendo Power article, actually. I was salivating at the thought of it, and was praying that it came over to NA. It never did and my dream of making an SNES rpg laid dormant for years...
