E3?

Been watching a bit of E3 on G4TV every now and then....games seem to have pretty good graphics.

But what I want to know is where are all the RPGs? Even American RPGs would be nice. Otherwise, has Japan's version of E3 seperated from Americas?
I don't follow video games as much as most folks here, so I don't have as much to say about it. I will say that I was actually most impressed with Sony's E3 presentation. For the Wii, that new Wii Fit 'game' or whatever sounds like it might be a little fun, but honestly I'd rather just go jogging than plonk down a bunch of money for that. Wii lacks a big library of good and great adventure and role-playing games, but that doesn't bother me much because I don't play very many games anyways. So I'll probably buy a Wii sometime soon this summer based on what they have and what they will have coming this year :). PS3 is nice, MGS4 is way cool, but I live in a frat house so I'll just play somebody else's.

Oh, and I didn't find the Microsoft presentation very interesting. My very amateur speculation is that theirs was the worst of the three, but I don't care much about Halo so maybe I see it differently :P.

Yeah I liked the look of Mario Kart Wii and Halo 3. Japan has it's own "E3" called Tokyo Games Show I think.

I was highly disappointed in Nintendo's press conference. There just wasn't enough girth to it. Nintendo has a bunch of cool things coming out, yet they barely mentioned them in the conference.

The fraction of Smash Bros. footage was also crappy. That's a REALLY BIG GAME.
If you're pining for an RPG, have a look at Lost Odyssey. Though there aren't that many major new projects on the horizon. Blue Dragon and Dragon Quest spinoffs are still on the way.

Irrelevantly: Silent Hill 5. POSITIVE EXCLAMATION IN ALL CAPS.
Ah Tokyo Games Show, that's the one I'd rather watch. >.>

Yeah, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon; Nobuo Uematsu's soundtracks are already out too ;-). At least Blue Dragons is....

I want to hear about Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, and that one with Mozart the composer. ;( I'm really not interested in depressing American FPS crap.
