Greetings and salutations all. I am very new to the game development process, but I've always been a devoted gamer. I've been playing rpg maker games for many years now and I love them quite dearly. So I decided to try my hand at making a game. Since I'm going to school full time right now I probably won't make much progress, but I'm really committed to making something I'm proud of. So hello to all you lovely people and it's nice to be here ^^

well, if you leave it for later, is worst than trying to baby steps progress starting today. Even if you manage to give it an hour a day, you will make it a habit and in a month you will have 30 hours that are more or less the equivalent of one hour of game and that is a very good start. (of course this is depending on what you are making.)
