What is this?
Rpg stories is a short/long "Choose your own adventure" game where the whole community are welcome to create new ideas. This Project will be work as a team to create 100% Original and 100% Great Story.
I started to think to open this community project after I herd that Befuddle Quest 6 is the last community project will ever be created from the Rpgmaker.net community.
This project is another way to make the whole community to work together to make a original game not just a everyday game but a game that can inspired the whole community together.
I was thinking of making a "Choose your own adventure" community project just for fun so I decided to make this.

Ok since this is out of the way, Let's start creating games.
No-one said that Befuddle will be the last RMN community project, but I wish you luck with this. You might want to be a little clearer in it, though.

I thought kentona had announce that Befuddle quest 6 was the last
I check it out here before I confirmed that was a last one.

And what part of the topic that you don't understand. So I can make further adjustment. (took me 3 hour to write this.)
The last Befuddlement, maybe, but not the absolute last community project ever. ^.^;

I really don't know what your aim is. Is it for everyone to make a game together or to make their own game and how would they go about doing so? Is it a map each or more like a chain game where people are given the copy to mess with for a while or perhaps just collaborating with ideas and one guy putting them all together at the end?

It's just really hard to tell what you're aiming for.

Also, don't expect there to be much in the way of prizes from other sources. This isn't an RMN sponsered event, since you didn't really ask the staff about it, so it's on your head to provide that certain something to make people want to join.
We might add an achievement if you get enough people, though, and maybe some MS, but in the future, if you want a real event on the site, shoot one of the mods a PM and we'll discuss it.

Yeah I should have contacted the staff before doing this, But I just keep forgotten to do this.

Ok let me explain this a little further.
It is a special type of chain game where a leader(Can be anyone) can form a team that anyone can join. A developer in a team have access to the team game that they are allowed to make ideas, maps, Etc...(It depend on the leader on their tactic on how to create a team project) The only thing is different that is a "choose your own adventure" kind of game (which of course the Ending will be different in any way depending on how the player did in the story) which everybody can make separate ending, story-line, etc...without any possibility of messing with other player ending since there would be multiple ending. (Example: you could have 5 good ending and 5 bad ending depending on how good or bad you are in the game or you will be married with a different person depending or how you did on their relationship at the end{I should have made an example game before doing this}). Is like a chain game but with multiple ending.

In Simple term (Since sometime my way of writing to a particular topic get pretty confusing)
- Leader make team
- Developer can join team
- They work together to create a game all of them have to create the main story of the game.
- Individual in the team/or the whole team will start making multiple ending/alternative cutscene based on the story all of them wrote.

I supposed to put this on hold, Until I could make an example game (Since I also make my own version of the "RPG Stories" series games) But allowing anyone to form a team until I can announce further detail with a working "RPG Stories" Game.

I always say that the last Befuddle Quest is the last one ever. It never holds true though.

And we are holding a community project right now. It just happens to be a Mario game in SMBX this time.
I don't think you could get enough people together for this to have a bunch of teams working on individual games, just have people use common resources to make branching paths for one big one.

That why I will going to change how RPG Stories project works.
I will just going to think of another way. But RPG Stories will still be underway.
I really like the idea that go around in my head everyday, And sometime I didn't say it right. That how it got mess up than I expected to.
Here's an idea, then. How about people sign up for the contest over a day or two.

At the end of the sign up, they are divided into groups randomly and have a week to create a short game in that abides by a then-released theme. It doesn't have to be multiple ending, just have to work together with people you might not know very well, and create a complete game (around an hour long to make it a bit easier on creators and judges).

Then the judges and community play the games and pick an official winner and voters choice winner, respectively.

This could work better - a short contest with a handicap in working with a team you don't know that well, and a theme for the game. This could be done a few times over a year or two without becoming boring.

I think your idea will work better. Well back to the drawing board. thanks for the idea.
