PROBLEM WITH EVENT MOVEMENT IN RMXP

CloseI'm having trouble with two of my events in the game. A switch comes on and two characters are supposed to walk up and then talk with the main character. I have the wait-for-event completion command in there but only one of the characters comes up but not the other.
If there some different techniques or something in RMXP because nothing seems to be in the way to block the character but she simply refuses to step forward with the male.

Check to make sure that no other Move Event command is being executed on the female at the same time. RPG Maker programs only handle one Move Event command on a character at a time, and if another is being used on that character at the same time, it might get preempted or simply ignored.
Make sure the "Repeat Action" box is unchecked in one of your previous Move Event commands that acts on her.
