CloseA forum game I'm calling "Riddle me this"
The rules are simple:
One person asks a riddles, the first person to answer it correctly gets to eitherdie in a hole Tell a riddle of their own, or pick someone else to do it. No picking someone who has already told a riddle that someone has answered correctly(This restriction expires after three riddles)
two guesses per person(Preferably in 1 post), if no one is able to guess it after 1 day, the person who told the unsolved riddle must either come up with a new one, give hints, or pick someone else for it. After 2 days, I will state "Time's up!" and add in my own riddle.
The riddle to kick this off:

What has roots deep in the earth, how deep no one knows,
that is taller than the trees, up up UP it goes,
but never grows.
(A fairly simple one)

Anonymity doesn't work, because it isn't broken if you say the name of anonymity itself (as in, 'anonymity').

I think we've run in to a problem. Searching riddles doesn't work because the guessers can do the same. Meaning the riddles need to be original. Urgggh...

You walk into a room where the doors quickly shut behind you. There is a man in the room who points to a panel behind you and tells you that the only way to escape is to correctly answer the statement as true or false.
The statement is:
There are four false statements here.
3+4=7
8x3=22
1/2 - 1/5 = 1/3
17-9=5
11x7=77
There are 2 buttons labeled as True and False on the panel. What do you push?

I think we've run in to a problem. Searching riddles doesn't work because the guessers can do the same. Meaning the riddles need to be original.
I was hoping people would try and come up with their own, or at least use one that is obscure.

False, there is less than 4 false statements.
Since this is a riddle I'm probably missing something vital in that but... I'll answer the obvious answer. I push the False button!

Oh, I get, I get it! I should push the True button, because the statement "there are four false statements here" IS a false statement! But wait, if that statement IS false then wouldn't that mean that they cancel out or... *mutter* *mutter*
