I was just wondering if it is even possible to be able to play an rpgmaker xp game in a browser. I was just curious to know if it could be done.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Not as far as I'm aware, but knowing this community someone's come up with a way to do it involving some sticky-backed plastic, three variables, a custom tileset and your best friend's pet hamster.
Sure, just learn HTML, Java, and Flash, then make some sorta script that makes the creation of custom characters (stored elsewhere from the core game) so 10k people can each have their own semi-unique character. And another script so it is actually compatible with the browser.
You could conceivably make rather than an MMO, more like an Adobe Flash game (I've seen the like as nes/snes flash games so it should be doable). Then all you'd need is some way to import the entire game into some animation system. eHow actually has some tutorials on this. But, ideally what we'd want, is a script that essentially allows rpgmaker code to emulate Flash processes or something.
