What are the exact settings to make spikes kill you when they go up while you're standing still on them?

With my set up, they will kill you if you move while they are up, but if you stand still and they raise, nothing happens.

I know none of the animation options are ticked, but I did try them all. Also tried making it below and same as player. I think it's something more fundamental I'm doing wrong.

*Not kill in this case, cause I have them on transfer player. But you know what I mean!

You may need to download a script or use variables (which requires a small fix as Enterbrain couldn't properly design their own program) to see if the hero is standing on the spikes when they come up, as I tried to test this by using the Event Touch trigger and the result was the same. This can be achieved by setting one variable to check the Hero's X location and another for the Y, and then see if they are equal to a set number that corresponds with the location of a spike.

Now with RM2k/3, you can set an event to process by much simpler means, but the future and all that jazz.
