Close Hey, my name's Novalux and I'm new to rpgmaker (oh rly?). I'm hoping to make some games, play some games, and repeat. Its really awesome how many people are making new and (sometimes) unique rpgs and I'm pretty suprised that more people don't know about it. Dreamed about making games for a while now, and hopefully I can get started (If I can just figure out how to script...).
Anyway, if there's anything you should know about me, its that I'm a huge fan of pretty much anything Bethesda makes, and that I can't draw. Seriously, I've tried pretty much every way of drawing out there and I just plain suck at it. If nothing else I've been thinking up some unique ideas for games and want to see what they come out like. Anyway, I hope to see you all on the forums ;).

I can relate with the shitty drawing skills, I used to visit a manga community and posted my drawings there. Everybody just went all apeshit about my bad drawing skills, they didn't even give real advice. Even though the manga drawing saga of my life lasted only few weeks, it scarred me permanently. I burned all of my drawings and drawing equipment afterwards. I just shoved all those atrocious scribblings in the sauna oven. I poured deodorant on them and threw a lit match at the pile.
I just watched as the pile of atrocious scribbliness incinerated into oblivion.

I didn't realise that New Vegas used a top-down view and a turn-based battle system...
Super Mario Bros 2 and Zelda 2 were different compared to their predecessors but it doesn't stop them from being true games in their respective franchises.
New Vegas is a real sequel because it was at least made by some of the guys who made Fallout 1 and 2, instead of being another butchered Fallout product by Bethesda.
I'm not sure why I'm arguing about this in a welcome topic.
