PROBLEM WITH MY SELF MADE TILESET HELP PLEASE?

This problem halted my game and i haven't got around to fixing my tile set issues or asking someone about how to fix it. But anyway i got a group of resources/tilesets and i bunched together the ones i thought i would need for my game. As soon as i started to place the tile sets they didn't blend right like some of the whites were off and didn't blend into the background like they were a different type of whites. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Or fix this themselves i would greatly appreciate it! Here are the tilesets you could test out see how they go for you
and here's how they are not blending into the background on my screen
. Thanks for the help!

You probably made the white parts completely white (as in RGB 255, 255, 255) and kept the background white as well, so when you chose it as the transparent colour, it messed it all up.

My advice would be to edit the tileset and remove all the pure white or pure black colours and maybe give it a different background colour before you import it again.

I worded my reply in a strange manner now that I read it again. Sorry about that.

PS: Now that I look at the screenshot more carefully, I can tell that you made several mistakes when you put this tileset together. You have probably saved it as a wrong file type as well, try .PNG next time.
Hm. Yeah currently going through and painting everything in the background as purple lol.
To be honest JL i think this photo has always been a .PNG file. I don't know where it went wrong might of been because i used different programs like gimp and paint or its because some of the tile sets i copyed and pasted onto this were .jpg files so i don't know.

A JPG file will mess up the edges of the items you're importing, and that will usually lead to results like the one in your screenshot.

You just need to be more careful next time you make this sort of compilations. Good luck!
