Often the game just hangs in mid battle. The player stepping animation still plays but everything else just hangs up including the text and the enemy battlers, and no buttons will work. And it seems like the likelihood of it happening increases with the number of enemies.
Other scripts used for the battle system:
*algebras Flash Select Enemy - just continuously flashed the selected enemy
*vts enemy hp bars - draws enemy hp bars below them
*neo gauge ultimate ace - changes the style of gauges

Try disabling the other scripts you're using and see if the problem still occurs.
Yanfly's scripts are pretty solid.
1)Either one of your other scripts needs to be removed
(non-Yanfly script.)
or
2)The order the scripts needs to be changed.
(Put priority on the Yanfly scripts by putting
them higher on the list.)

Have you tried altering where the flash select enemy script is placed in your script list?
