MFC71 ERROR

Okay, so I can run the game in full-mode just fine.
But when I put it in Window Mode, if I get into battle, it tells me that MFC71.dll is missing.
It doesn't happen on my other game, which doesn't have voice acting, and thus doesn't have Disharmony on it. I must've installed it poorly on there, but given the stupid nature of Disharmony (you're allowed to patch ONCE for each unique file, not even if it's an older version that doesn't actually have the file), I can't retry.
Is there a way to (A)fix this problem, or (B)disable the ability to use Alt Enter?

Have you tried finding an MFC71.dll file and placing it in the same folder?
Knowing the dumb nature of computers, I'm compelled to think that creating a blank text file and just renaming it to "MFC71.dll" will fix the problem.

I read up on it. That's a bad idea.

I scanned for malware, with MalwareBytes, and Windows Malicious File Remover. Didn't notice anything. I think it's just a displaced file. But I dunno how to fix it. I might try contacting the author of that help site. And I'll try testing it on another computer.

The mfc71.dll file is is related to the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 program
Have you tried installing/reinstalling that?
(It also apparently happens when I use Battle Anims, but only if the game is Windowed)

I tried. There was some sort of error that prevented it.

It also took two tries and about 10 min to notice I'd loaded the file. There's a problem with Windows Installer too, probably. I wish Windows would leave things be, and stop constant upgrades. I don't mind this stuff, but I hate that their service has gone down, since they expect people to discontinue XP. Meaning you have like 5 versions of something, because they don't bother with compatibility.
I ran both of the files, and the third was a .cpp file. Screw it.
Moot point time. It turns out, the error doesn't even show up on my second computer. Meaning the odds are pretty well against anyone getting it besides me. I guess then we can mark this as "solved."

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Bulma, the files you're trying to install from the Windows site are just security updates. They're not the actual file.
I uploaded the file for you here - it goes in C:\Windows\system32\
...But just downloading the .dll file and sticking it in the system32 folder is probably not gonna work. It's just gonna tell you some other error next, because your whole .NET Framework is probably corrupted somehow.
To reinstall the .NET stuff, first go to Add & Remove Programs in the control panel, and uninstall every single version of the Microsoft .NET Framework. Then scroll down a little and uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1, and just to be safe, go ahead and uninstall the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime.
Once you're done uninstalling all that garbage, restart the computer, open Internet Explorer, and run Windows Update from the Tools menu (you may have to enable the menu bar). Unless your Windows installation is also broken in a second unrelated way, Windows Update should detect that the .NET Framework is not installed, and offer to install it for you. It may take several reboots to install all the different versions of it (The .NET Framework 3.5 has to be installed separately from any other Windows Update patch). Keep running Windows Update until it says there are no more updates.
If Windows Update refuses to reinstall the .NET Framework, which is unlikely but possible, download the all-important 3.5 framework here and then let me know so I can direct you to the correct other versions (since 3.5 by itself isn't always enough)

Oh, btw. I proxied out IE (I kept getting major hacks and glitches crashing my computer, because most of the hackers on Earth use backdoors through IE), and exclusively use Firefox.

I think I can technically still use Windows Update (internal processes work, just nothing that opens a window in IE, which is often okay, except for MMOs anyway). But I'm wondering if this is blocking some of the processes. Anyway, I'll try the above later. It's 3am.
Yea, I had to disable the proxy to get it to work.
Update: Yayyyyy, it works!
