RPG MAKER VX ACE WORLD MAP

I am at my wits end, I brought RPg maker VX (Hey, it was £25 on the steam summer sale) And the world map tileset is uglier than a bulldog licking piss off a nettle, are there any... uh, nicer looking worldmap tilesets? Or at least a pointer in the right direction, I'll make my own if if there are any decent tileset making tutorials knocking about.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

There are hundreds of tilesets out there, but there aren't many on this site. http://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/1527/ is where we keep a lot of them, but as you can see it's just a single giant disorganized forum topic, and will take a day or so to wade through. You'll probably have better luck on other websites.
The good news is that you can effortlessly use tilesets made for both VX and Ace, and you can use tilesets made for XP with very little effort (in fact I think there's a program someone made that automatically converts them).
If you are comfortable using ripped graphics from commercial games, take a look at a website called spriters-resource. You can make a really pretty game out of, say, Suikoden 2 graphics.

I have trawled Spriters-resrouce, I use that place a lot (I got my Steel Spitit SaGa sprites from there) I'm looking into the VX Ace chipset converter, course, the damn thing doesn't seem to want to load Inquisitors worldmap tileset for XP. Thanks for the heads up, though :)
What exactly about the tilesets do you not like? The look of them, or the way auto tiles map? If it's the blocky look you're trying to change, there's very few that will help you with either VX or Ace. If it's just the nature of the visuals, there are a few places you can try (rpgmakervxace.net, rpgmakerweb.com, rpgmakervx.net) to see if they have anything better.
The blockiness is fine it's the overall style, the art style of the sprites is still very pixelated (sort of) and the tilesets are too smooth (sort of) kinda gives me a hernia looking at it.
