As you know, I recently purchased the RPG Maker VX Ace, and I'm working on... a trial game, to see how I get on with the program, I'm looking for a way to add character battlers to the battle screen like so... (skip to 2:09 for the actual battle.


What I'm mainly after is the way the battle windows, and character HP/MP show up, and the player battlers, I'm aware that the default enemy battlers are still pictures, and I'm totally cool with that.

(I can't find one on google, because, the game in question Vay, isn't that popular, and although the battle system is similar to 7th Saga, I can't find a script for that battle system, either.)

I had come across that, but wasn't sure if you could use custom player battlers.

I don't see why not. Just import the sprites you want to use
and they should appear where the script tells them too.
The script is easy to adjust if I remember correctly.
I tested it out once.

There might be better script too. A lot of people like the
XP battle system and there might be something like that for Ace.

Is it going to be your custom to necro-post?

Anyway, I think I have an idea of what you might want (a display of actor faces rather than a display of names). There's probably already a script that does this for VX, though, so, I'm a little confused by this request.
