You should post information about your hardware/OS.
There's a program by Cherry that makes the game fullscreen by a different method that might work.

I made the video using movie maker and my laptop is a window 7. Idk if it my laptop or the program (video). Works fine windowed but not full screen. I can make a video to show you.
