I HAD TO LIFT A BUNCH OF CRAP JUST NOW

Alright, so we're moving out in a couple days. I wake up, then I start taking crap from my attic.

HOLY BALLS.

I immediately realize how much shit we have. It takes me what feels like two hours to lift all these boxes down. I think there were like... 20-30. Each of them around 50-200+ pounds. The stuff below 100 wasn't any trouble, it was the heavy-duty stuff that REALLY tired me out.

I eventually got done, but that's not the point; I feel like I just had a really good workout, and my muscles feel really toned. I was tired as all hell, but it was really good for my system and whatnot.

You ever have those moments where you feel like you had exercise, but not quite? Post them here
I moved 3 times in a 2 year span. So yes.

Once I moved from one third floor to another third floor using a U-Haul van. The worst part was all those narrow stairs ... :P

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

We live in the digital age. The internet has made exercise obsolete.

I once moved the entire contents of my aunt and uncle's house to a storage facility that took roughly 8 hours to do. The worst thing was having to lift the washing machine up from the basement by hand. That sucked. Nearly lost a toe.

Now I'm going to be moving myself and need to move all my crap. Thankfully most of it can fit in the trunk of my car. Just need to borrow my mom's van for the bed or whatever. Until then, bedroll. You guys would be surprised how comfortable you can be on the floor with a good bedroll. Better than a queen size, I'm telling you. Gotta have that firm back suppo-OOH MY BRITTLE OLD MAN HIP.

...wow.

We only really move every 3-5 years; I can't imagine dealing with that kind of stress.

I'm glad this is the last time our family has to deal with this shit.

Oh, gwd -- I hate lifting those massive washing machines!!!

I used to have to help a few of my mother's friends move a bunch of furniture into a truck along with my brother a few years back. I always hated it; but my brother didn't seem to mind doing it too much. (that's probably why he's in a construction job and I ain't)

The best part is when you're done. Only to realize that you're completely sore all over and can't move for at least a day or two.

But it came with "free pizza". ^^
Free pizza's the best part of anything.

:)
My mom always goes through phases of shuffling furniture into different rooms of the house every 4-6 months. So of course I have to go over and help my dad move 100 lb massage chairs and solid oak TV cabinets up and downstairs.
I hate those times of the year.
Finally getting back into the game after it took ages for us to get into our new house since they made it near impossible for us to buy (I think we had to live in our camper for 3-4 months...if not longer) before we finally managed to get in it. I'd have to say it was completely worth it though. Having lived in a tiny house ever since I was born (so 24 years worth of time), we ended up selling it to the flood people when we got flooded awhile back. Regardless, it was amazing how much stuff we fit into our small house, and it was a bit of lifting there too (massive dressers, washing machines, boxes full of tools and other junk...hell we even managed to get our shower out of there, since we had one of those nice ones with a built in radio and such).

This current house we got a steal on, because some foolish drug dealers got caught and lost this house. Now we have a way bigger house with stairs, an actual garage for our vehicles, a brand new 10 feet deep in ground pool that the previous owners never even got to swim in (no joke). Were also in a much nicer neighborhood with nice neighbors, and with the deck/fenced in swimming pool, it's rather nice outside (when the rain doesn't troll us).

Anyways. that's my most recent experience, and I can say without a doubt...it was worth it
I'm finally back from moving. It took quite a while (had to wait a week for internet, too...) but I'm back in business.

Weeeee.

Unless it's bad pizza.

My family are slowly preparing to move, and I recently had to transport loads of old paintings to our storage unit. Being as OCD as I am, I did not have a fun time touching those dusty things. :(
No such thing as bad pizza for me, brother.

Fav food. <3

And yeah, dust is never good. :( Hate being around it.
