I need assistance on making a scripted scene. The main character is supposed to walk into a room, and upon stepping on a certain tile, he triggers the main villain to notice him and then it will trigger a conversation between the two. The main villain is supposed to walk around in fixed baths and stopping to talk. At the end of the scene, both characters are sent to a new map.
I'll attempt to do it myself, but I'm unsure of how to consistently use the same sprite for multiple events.

You can make the tile he is supposed to walk on into a touched by hero event, or a collision with hero event to do this. If you want the villian to notice the hero, you can use the command, move event and click on the command, face hero. Be sure to register the movement to the name of event of the villian. To make him speak click on the command message. if you want him to speak while he is moving, have him move around and uncheck the box that says to wait the duration while he is moving. That way he can move around while he is still talking. If you don't want that, you can mess with the message settings so that events do not move while a message box is open. To move them to a new map, it's simple enough to use the command teleport, and decide where you want the hero to be on the next map and then which way the hero is facing. Hope this is what you wanted. :P
It was helpful, but I'm looking for that "ominous" touch. He is supposed to walk and face my hero, talk, then walk back to his place, finish his speech and finally initiate the teleport. I have multiple problems:
1. He doesn't actually appear until I step on the event that triggers him.
2. When he walks to the hero, his sprite points down instead of to the right, even though his path is set to make him stop, facing the right.
3. Likewise, I don't know how to make the hero face the villain when they talk.
4. I can't figure out how to make him walk back to his original place.
5. I don't know how to have my character move as part of the script.
