Inspired by Jparker1984's RM2k/3 poll, I have decided to come with one of my own. I want to get an idea of what people are using to make their current game. Please feel free to elaborate on your vote and keep it civil, boys and girls.
We need box selections for polls.

But more than one, to answer your question. 2k3 and Ace for my mains. Frankly, I've got games on each RM, bar XP (computer refuses to run the damn thing). Yes, even 95 - don't ask.

I have games in 2k3, XP, VX, and VX Ace.

Sadly the computer that had XP is down so I can't work on my XP game.
I sporadically work on all of my projects but Diabolica, which is pretty much every day.

Thanks for providing feedback, Lib. I didn't put RM95 since I didn't expect anybody to still be using it. I haven't even played a game made in that engine.

And Adon, so you are a Swiss-Army type developer, I see.
Granted, it's a dead game, but I still count all my babiesgames.

Nightfall in rm2k3 for the time being. Secret gam #1 in Ace Lite and Secret gam #2 in Construct Classic because I'm cheap poor. =(

It's good that at least you have some tools at your disposal to develop your games. Hopefully, things will turn around and you will be able to have more options. :)

See above. Also, at least you finally got the demo out. Just by taking a lot at your gamepage, I can tell it's an ambitious project.
I have games in a wide variety of engines; 2k3, SMBX, AGS, Sphere, Construct, Game Maker. I'll add Ace to that if I win a copy.

Just how much I have done in each is an even wider variety haha Mostly 2k3 and SMBX.
I m making a game in RMVXAce but the progress has been rather slow since i don't have much free time right now , and also i still need to find a spirit for the one of the main characters.

I'm currently working on if you can call it "working on" a VX Ace project (See: Konae's Investigations).

With the other makers, I still have the original 2K version of Legacy for some kind of odd "this is what we thought was good" value. 2K3 I've only messed with in respect to Veil of Darkness, and the Map Madness events Liberty has run (I expect one to occur this year). I made a few things in XP, but they were generally ported to VX, when I got it. With VX, well, there's Matsumori Days and Arbiters From Another World.
I translate games, and so I'm currently using RPG Maker 2000 to translate a Japanese game made in RPG Maker 2000 :)

I translate games, and so I'm currently using RPG Maker 2000 to translate a Japanese game made in RPG Maker 2000 :)


I have been helping J-L to translate Natura 2, which is being made in XP, from Spanish. I found this program that is able to extract the text from projects made in different makers, so that I don't need to touch the maker itself. I actually used it for the revamp of Natura in which I am going to be translating but rather revising the text (more than 500 pages worth with all the junk that the program spitted out).
