HELP WANTED: 8-BIT GRAPHICS DESIGNER FOR RETRO RPG

I need someone who's skilled in making 8-bit style sprites and tilesets. I want to make a very retro RPG with a similar visual style to the Gameboy SaGa/FF Legend games, only with NES colors. I've got the palette and most of the ideas, I just need someone to take on the visual work so I can focus on everything else.

If you want to know, the game will probably be called Hero of Another World, until I find a better title. It's about a kid who gets warped to a fantasy world and becomes a hero blah blah etc. It's meant to have a very cliche story. Hopefully it will be a fun little game when it's finished.

So if you're interested, post your response or PM me, and I'll have you make something to show me you're a good fit for the project.

Oh, and if you're good at writing dialogue, I could also use that.
I suggest using placeholder graphics for now and start making the game.
We wouldn't want our work to go to waste on the off chance the game wouldn't be released.
Actually forget it. I just found out RM2k and 2k3 don't work on windows 8, and they're obsolete anyway.
Screw it, I'm gonna learn GameMaker.

They don't? I could have sworn I had them running on that. Well, 2k3 at least.
Have you tried to right-click on them and choose to run them with a compatibility change? And run as Admin?
2k3 does in fact work on Windows 8. It's not obsolete, there are just some machines that aren't initially compatible. Try what Liberty suggested. Maybe it's the video card or something, but it's not simply because of the OS. It works.

It works.
I had this issue with 2k3 on windows 8. I fixed it by right click and run as admin every time you open the game. It's really not a big deal.
Thanks everyone. I did get it to work, but then I found that the RTP resources weren't included, and I can't find a working download for them. Anyone got a link to something that still works?
