CloseHey. This might sound stupid but I'm new to this site and I'm confused. I want to download rpg maker 2000 games like Desert nightmare, etc. But I don't know what is needed software to play. Can someone just tell me the EXACT name of the software I need to download. Sorry if I sound stupid. Thanks for reading :/
Desert Nightmare needs the RPG Maker 2000 RTP installed in order to run. We can't link it since RM2k was never released officially in English and all downloads for it are technically piracy. It looks like it needs the font patch too which you can download here or here.
e: Oh, yeah. It's a *.rar file so you'll need something like what Kentona posted to extract it too.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Uh... the RTP isn't illegal to download, bro. That's the whole point of it: you have to give it to anyone who wants to play the games. But once they have it, they can play any game made in that version of RPG Maker.
You can get it here, just to prove that it's available for download on their official website. But you probably would rather download this one, which is identical except that the Setup program is in English instead of Japanese.
Though, as a general rule, any game that requires the RTP is not really designed for random people to be able to play, it's just designed for other RPG Maker users. But if you want to play it, you totally can.
